O' father of mine You explained to me about life cycle You told me to accept death, as I would accept life. O' father of mine I though under your guidance, I have finally understood that life is not permanent. I thought under your guidance, I am able to face life shortcomings. O' father of mine There is pain in my heart, thinking of life without you. There is pain in my heart, when opening the door, and not seeing you. O' father of mine You left me when I least expected it. You left me with only memories to hold on. O' father of mine I thought you would be around for a very long time. I thought you would be forever strong. O' father of mine I am not ready to let go because I want to dwell on the times you were still alive. I am not ready to let go because I want to hold on to you for a little while longer. O'father of mine I was happy to hear you say you've led a quality life. I was happy to see you leave with a smile upon your lips. O' father of mine You told me for every endings, somewhere there would be new beginnings. You told me for everyone that leave this earth somewhere they would exist. O' father of mine With this in mind, I promise I will not dissapoint you. With this in mind, I must let you go and begin your life anew. O'father of mine I am happy now because I know when my time is up one day, I'll be going to your place. I am happy now because I know when my time is up one day, you'll be there waiting.
