Thanksgiving to me is a time to be grateful for family & friends,,,I have lost both of my parents,,,my dad when I was 25 which was 18 years ago he passed of a sudden heart attack and my mom when I was 35 which was 9 years ago,,she passed after being retired for only 7 months from a cerberal anyurusm,,,very unexpected for them both and I miss them everyday but mostly at holidays,,,I loved my mom's cooking and we always had everything you could think of,,,LOL,,,Now we are scattered and try to get together if we can,,,my sister lives at the beach,,my other sister is astray from family never has been close to us and my aunts & uncles live out of state,,,so now it is just me and my hubby and his family and my kids which is most wonderful too,,,But can help but miss having my parents here with us,,it does leave a HOLE in your heart,,,so please to all that still ahve your WHOLE family enjoy the holidays and treasure them because you never know when they will be gone and make sure you always let them know just how very special and loved they are not just on the holidays but EVERYDAY!!!! LIFE IS TOO SHORT and it can change in an instant.........
