The Difference.... I got up early one morning,
and rushed right into my day....
I had so much to accomplish,
That I didn't take the time to pray....
Problems just tumbled about me,
and heavier each task became....
'Why doesn't God help me?' I wondered....
And He said, 'But You Didn't Ask'....
I wanted to see joy and beauty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak....
I wondered why God didn't show me....
And He said, 'But You Didn't Seek'....
I tried to come into God's presence....
I used all of my keys at the lock....
God gently and lovingly chided....
'My Child, You Didn't Knock'....
I woke up early this morning....
And paused before I started my day....
I had so much to accomplish...
That I Had To Take Time To Pray....
Don't Ever Quit.... Don't quit when the tide is lowest,
For it's just about to turn....
Don't quit over doubts and questions,
For there's something you may learn....
Don't quit when the night is darkest,
For it is just a while until dawn....
Don't quit when you have run the farthest,
For the race is almost won....
Don't quit when the hill is steepest,
For your goal is almost nigh....
Don't Quit....For Your Not A Failure....
Until You Fail To Try....

That It Is In The 'Valleys' That I 'Grow'....
If I Always Stayed On The Mountain Top,
And Never Experienced Any Pain...
I Would Never Appreciate God's Love,
And Would Be Living In Vain....
I Have So Much To Learn,
And My Growth Is Very Slow...
Sometimes I Need The 'Mountain Tops'....
But It Is In The 'Valleys' That I 'Grow'....
I Do Not Always Understand,
Why Things Happen As They Do...
But I Am Very Sure Of One Thing,
My 'Lord' Will See Me Through....
My Little Vallley's Are Nothing,
When I Picture 'Christ' On The Cross...
'He' Went Through The Valley Of Death,
And 'His Victory' Was Satan's Loss...
Forgive Me 'Lord', For Complaining,
When I Am Feeling So Very Low...
Just Give Me A Gentle Reminder,
That It Is In The 'Valleys' That I 'Grow'....
Continue To Strengthen Me 'Lord',
And Use My Life Each New Day...
To Share 'YOUR LOVE' With Others,
And Help Them To Find Their Way....

For This One Thing I Know....
The 'Mountain Tops' Are Glorious,
But It Is In The 'Valleys' That I 'Grow'....
